We are proud to announce that we managed to organize with our partner NaviGate additional workshops for you during Geosymposium. They will concern the ways of effective spatial data collecting during field works. Unfortunately, number of seats is limited. The registration order for those workshops will decide about enrolled participants. Please do it by sending email with your willingness to participate to firstname.lastname@example.org
Short description of the course:
During workshops, participants will be acquainted with methods of measuring applications designed for GIS and Spectra Precision GNSS collectors, which allow to conduct in situ measurements in a very simple way. Manual collectors and a MobileMapper smart antenna are able to work in autonomous mode, differential mode and post-processing mode. The aim of these workshops is to get to know or to improve skills of collecting spatial data for one’s own studies.
• theoretical introduction – a description of technology and devices
• presentation of prepared project and layers
• in situ measurements
• discussion over the results

Geosymposium is an international conference devoted to young scientists, PhD Students and young doctors interestedin Earth Sciences. The conference is of an interdisciplinary character, thanks to which it provides an excellent platform for the presentation of research results in the field of geology, geophysics, geography and environmental protection.
The nature of Geosmposium is to promote constructive discussion on raised issues from a variety of points of view. That is the source of its high potential to contribute to improvement of the current work of young researchers and establish collaboration on joint projects between them in the future.
In this year we are planning to perform following sessions:
